The longer you wait to start recycling your goods, the more cartridges that you’ve used are going to end up wasting space in a landfill.

To send them you just need to fill out a form to go along with your cartridges. It’s quite easy to fill out this form, and you may even be able to do so on the Internet. You’ll just have to include your name, address, and the make and model of your cartridges. Then the company can send you shipping return tags to put on your cartridges when you’re ready to send them off to be recycled. Sometimes, companies require that you have a certain number of cartridges before you send them in. So, if you don’t do much printing in your home or office, you might have to wait a while. Just store your used cartridges somewhere that you know you’ll remember later on, and then send them in once you’ve collected enough of them. Or, you could ask your friends who do lots of printing if they might be willing to donate some.

One great reason it’s a good idea to start recycling your toner is that you’ll find out that you might have other things in your office that can be recycled. For instance, you might be able to start recycling the paper you use for all your printed documents. Or, you might just want buy some paper that is already made out of recycled goods; this paper often looks just as good as paper that is made of entirely new materials.
